A little info about me.  I've been teaching PE for 3 decades now...Yikes, that's a long time!  I've spent my entire BPUSD teaching career at Sierra Vista JHS.   I enjoy what I do and love the kids I teach.

 

Accolades:  I've been part of the HEAC (Healthy Eating Active Children) committees for BPUSD and was the lead coach for HEAL (Healthy Eating Active Living).  I've been a part of our school's Leadership Team since its inception.  I've been honored as our school's Teacher of the Year for the 2011-12 year and also as the District's Teacher of the Year that same year.  I've also had the pleasure of being a part of the District Teacher of the Year selection process.

 

This year, I'm teaching 7th and 8th grade!

 **If you are absent and miss class, you must do make-up work to keep your grade from lowering.  Look in your Google Classroom under classwork.  If we are in a unit, look for the assignment for that unit.  For example, there may be Team Handball assignment to be done while we are doing Team handball.  If you've already completed the current unit's assignment, then go down the assignment list under MAKE-UP WORK.  Any make-up work must be shared with me in Google docs and not turned in with Google Classroom.  Please contact me if you do not understand.
