Principal’s Message

It's been an absolute privilege to serve our community, and I'm excited about the future to come. Our school continues to move forward in service to our students. On behalf of the entire SVMS Staff, Welcome Back!
Earlier this summer I sent an announcement regarding our recognition by the US News and World Report as one of the Best Schools for 2025. That work is only possible because of the amazing work by our staff, parents, and students. I'm incredibly proud of this fact because it validates the work we've been doing together (but there is always room to grow). We have also applied for Platinum Recognition Status for PBIS in recognition of the work done on student behavior (fingers crossed - we currently hold a Gold Seal):

I believe middle school is a pivotal time in students’ lives. A time to nurture curiosity, strengthen resilience, and build confidence for future success. My goal is to ensure that every student feels valued, challenged, and supported as they prepare for the opportunities ahead. I am committed to working alongside our dedicated teachers, staff, and families to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
My parents taught me the importance of hard work, and my family has been my greatest motivation. I carry those lessons into my work every day, encouraging students to dream big, embrace challenges, and know that their goals are within reach. All they need is grit!
I look forward to a wonderful school year filled with learning, growth, and achievement. Together, we will continue to make Sierra Vista Middle School a place where every student thrives.
