GATE
The Baldwin Park Unified School District's Gifted and Talented Education program exists to provide:
- GATE students with a culture of high expectations and academic rigor that will assist them in meeting their potential.
- Parents of GATE students with information that will assist them in understanding and nurturing their GATE child.
- Teachers of GATE students with the necessary knowledge to participate in identifying students with gifted and talented potential and to differentiate curriculum to meet their educational needs.
Middle and Junior High School GATE Enrichment Program
The GATE program is offering an opportunity to GATE students in all middle and junior high schools to participate in the Secondary GATE Enrichment Program. This program involves twelve hours of after-school enrichment.
