My name is Maribel Verduzco and I am the 6th-8th grade school counselor at Sierra Vista Middle School.  I received a Master's Degree in Educational Counseling, with a Pupil Personnel Credential from Azusa Pacific University, and this is my 12th year working at this school site.  I have a true connection with Sierra Vista Middle School because it is my Alma Mater.  I love this community and enjoy being part of a wonderful team of students, parents, administrators, teachers and staff.  Working with students is what I enjoy most.  I want to inspire and empower every student to take control of their education and their social emotional well-being, so that they may achieve their personal best.
